我曾常去吴淞船码头,那是合家到崇明访夫人插队过的房东,或迎送这门“亲戚”,然而老码头那拥挤和脏乱使我视为畏途。因此当知道刘仲先生在设计吴淞新客运站时未免大喜,但当我见得他那草图时却又是吃一惊,怎么了?我那熟悉的老建筑师、老教师搞起了表现主义。同济老教师做交通建筑,使唤个功能主义什么的,那是再自然不过的了,刘仲先生做的崇明汽车站便是个很合理的设计。至于吴淞新客运站设计的功能布置自然也是绝无问题的,倒是那两头翘翘的元宝似的造型使我一时无法把握,而且
