通过微机对水稻株叶型的模糊聚类分析,从实用农学出发,把川西平原的中稻品种分为“窄叶多穗型”,“宽叶穗重型”和“中间型”三类,各自的高产特点依次为“多穗夺高产”,“一定穗数基础上主攻结实数”和“既攻穗数又攻结实数”.虽然各类中都有高产品种,但从不同类型品种的主要生理特性研究和大面积生产效果来看,“窄叶多穗型”品种更适于川西平原这种日照不足,光温潜力值低的生态条件.
