Wei Jingxian is a brilliant hair-embroidery master in Wenzhou, a port city in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province. He has been commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government departments many times to create hair-embroidered portraits for foreign state leaders. Though his name may not be known to many people, his masterpieces are now in the Buckingham Palace, the White House, The Netherlands’ Royal Palace, the Malaysian prime minister’s office, the Kremlin and the Untied Nations Headquarters in New York, to name just a few.
