明清以来渡海来台的先民承袭着闽粤传统,也沿袭着日常生活中的习俗。而这其中传统民间漆器往往是在新居落成或结婚喜庆时必不可少的器物,以此昭告亲友,展现新的生活形态。而这些传统已成为代代相传的生活习俗与宗教信仰,变成不可或缺的生活器物,而这漆器的红色正寓意中国人的吉祥福气与喜气。
The ancestors who crossed the sea to Taiwan since the Ming and Qing Dynasties inherit the traditions of Fujian and Guangdong and follow the customs in their daily life. Of these, traditional folk lacquer wares are often the necessary artifacts when new homes are completed or weddings are celebrated to show their relatives and friends and show their new life style. These traditions have become the living customs and religious beliefs that have been handed down from generation to generation and have become indispensable objects of life. The red color of this lacquer ware means the auspicious blessing and festivity of the Chinese people.
