山东菜作为中国四大菜系之一,蕴含了悠久的历史和深厚的文化底蕴,山东的饮食文化是齐鲁文化的重要组成部分。随着全球化进程的加快和国际间交往的加深,越来越多的外国友人对中国的饮食文化产生浓厚兴趣。如何恰当的把优秀的山东饮食文化用英语外宣传播出去将直接影响到山东文化的品牌形象和国际影响力。通过传播学的视角来探讨山东菜名的英译策略,从而更好地推介山东饮食文化,传播好中国的声音,讲好中国的故事。
Shandong cuisine as one of the four major Chinese cuisine, contains a long history and profound cultural heritage, Shandong’s food culture is an important part of Qilu culture. With the acceleration of globalization and deepening of international exchanges, more and more foreign friends have a keen interest in China’s food culture. How to properly communicate excellent Shandong food culture out of the English language will directly affect the brand image of Shandong culture and its international influence. Through the perspective of communication, this paper explores the strategy of English translation of the names of dishes in Shandong so as to better promote the Shandong diet culture, spread the good Chinese voice and tell a good story in China.
