鳖甲性味咸平,功能养阴退热,于结核病之具有阴虚内热症候者,投之效果甚好。成方中黄芪鳖甲散、秦艽鳖甲散、清骨散等所述证候,无一非结核病,方内均有鳖甲;清代齐有堂之救痨杀虫丹,方内有鳖甲,则直书曰:“治痨瘵”。可见鳖甲治痨的历史,是由来已久的。1976年参加省卫生工作队到泸溪某社、当地结核病甚多,尤以小儿之患肺门淋巴结核者不少,皆表现为咳嗽盗汗,纳呆神疲等气阴两虚证状。根据小儿特点拟一方:
