汉字在中华民族这块文化土壤上产生,透过汉字的表层结构,我们可以窥见蕴藏于其底层的汉民族文化心态。汉字作为书写符号系统,不仅是很完满地完成了辅助汉语更好地实现其交际功能的任务,同时它又折射出中华民族的传统文化,其中浸透着我们华夏祖先的物质生活及精神风貌,体现出这个古老民族的观察方式和审美情趣,因此说,汉字又具有深刻的文化功能。
Chinese characters are produced in this cultural soil of the Chinese nation. Through the superficial structure of Chinese characters, we can see the cultural mentality of Han nationality hidden in the bottom. As a writing symbology, Chinese characters not only fulfilled the task of assisting Chinese better in their communicative functions, but also reflected the traditional Chinese culture, which permeated the material life and mental outlook of our ancestors in Huaxia. Out of this ancient ethnic observation methods and aesthetic taste, therefore, that Chinese characters have profound cultural functions.
