After the introduction of Buddhism from the Eastern Han Dynasty into China, the Buddhist scriptures were successively translated into Chinese. In order to promote the public and expand their influence, translators of Sutra use non-dictation and adopt a more popular and colloquial style. As a result, the Sutra translated into an extremely rich source for the study of the history of Chinese vernacular Chinese language and the study of the popular and spoken grammar before and after the Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties. It is undoubtedly helpful to broaden the research on Chinese vocabulary history and grammar history by fully understanding the value of Buddhist scriptures for language research and strengthening the utilization and research of these materials.
