在公路设计和勘测过程中，常需确定某一点与线路的关系。本文首先讨论路线在测量坐标系中的数学模型，然后给出了路线上与给定点距离最短的点应满足的条件以及此点桩号和最短距离的计算方法。此法理论严密，编程方便。
In the road design and survey process, often need to determine the relationship between a point and the line. This paper first discusses the mathematical model of the route in the measurement coordinate system and then gives the conditions of the shortest distance between the route and the given point and the calculation method of the station number and the shortest distance at this point. This theory is rigorous and easy to program.
