Objective To analyze the influence of two kinds of operation pathways of 1 842 patients undergoing transradial (TGI) treatment and partial transthoracic (TFI) on coronary intervention and postoperative complications. Methods Patients with PCI undergraduate admission from September 2008 to September 2011 were randomly divided into two groups: the TGI group (n = 1 121) and the TFI group (n = 721). The data of intraoperative and postoperative were recorded in detail. And statistical analysis. Results The incidence of local hemorrhage, hematoma and vagal reflex in the puncture site of TGI group was significantly lower than that in TFI group (P <0.001). There was no significant difference between the other parameters and the success rate in operation (P> 0.05). Conclusions Percutaneous transradial PCI is safe and effective and can be adapted to most PCI requirements. It should be further popularized.
