在毛主席革命路线的指引下,我们城关公社新阳大队积极开展玉米双交制种,推广杂种玉米,实行科学种田。自一九七○年连续三年获得了玉米维尔156双交制种田亩产超千斤的高产量。在大旱的一九七二年,我们种植的四十三亩维尔156双交制种田亩产达到一千四百多斤,其中新关生产队的十二亩制种田亩产达到一千五百五十七斤的高产量。
