在读者服务工作中,常见读者拿着所借期刊,却查不到所需文献。究其原因多数是由于引文索引中出现差错或对它理解有误,从而形成“年卷不符”现象。期刊因“年卷不符”的拒绝条(以月统计为例),约占拒绝条总数的1/5,占借条总数的1％;拒绝率如此之高,值得引起重视。笔者根据多年的工作实践,对期刊“年卷不符”的产生原因及其处理方法,分述如下:
In the reader service work, the common readers holding the periodicals, but can not find the required documents. The reason for this is mostly due to errors in the citation index or mistakes in understanding it, resulting in the “annual discrepancy” phenomenon. Periodicals due to “annual volume does not match,” the rejection of articles (monthly statistics, for example), accounting for about 1/5 of the total number of rejects, accounting for 1% of the total number of IOUs; rejection rate so high, it deserves attention.
