On September 8, 2009, China Three Gorges Corporation and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People’s Government signed a Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation and entered into the “Inner Mongolia Pumped Storage and Wind Power Project Cooperation Agreement” with Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company, marking that the Three Gorges Group in Inner Mongolia Clean energy business in full swing. Hu Hu Station is the first pumped storage power station in Inner Mongolia that not only conforms to the power supply structure of Mengxi Power Grid but also meets the requirements of national energy conservation and emission reduction and the reform of power system and mechanism. In the meantime, Huhua Power Station is a strategic component of China Three Gorges Corporation’s clean energy and is a part of China’s Three Gorges Project
