There are two modes of economic globalization in the world today: one is the capitalist economic globalization led by the Western powers since the 20th century, and the other is the new type of economy globalized by the “Belt and Road” advocated by China since 2013 The Both economic globalization are conducted through the international division of labor, but there are essential differences. From the dual perspective of the division of labor theory of Marxism on productivity and production relations, there are differences between the two modes in terms of growth mode, participation mode, cooperation mode and benefit sharing mode. Capitalist economic globalization makes the capitalist mode of production expand worldwide through the international division of labor. The productivity effect of the division of labor is alienated into the result of the capitalist countries and the unbalanced distribution of benefits. In the new model of economic globalization, the results of the productive forces created through collaboration based on division of labor are shared by all participating countries and a community of destiny aimed at the common prosperity of all mankind is built.
