These sensors are widely used in automotive applications, as well as digital compass for smartphones and tablets, such as Apple’s iPhone and iPad. The total revenue of the top five silicon sensor suppliers in 2010 was as high as $ 962 million, accounting for 82% of the $ 1.18 billion overall market.
