Using the theory of partially coherent light, the autocorrelation function of the fiber loop was obtained, and the spectral transmission factor was derived by using the autocorrelation function. It directly linked the spectral density functions of the input and output optical fields of the fiber loop, and represented the coherence of the fiber loop . The application of spectral transmittance factor, combined with the coupling coefficient of optical fiber ring output, optical length and loss analysis, discussed the fiber loop coherence
