我县的农村教育综合改革工作,是从1986年开始启动的,到现在已经走过了16个年头。这16年来,在国家、省、市教育部门的精心指导下,在县委、县政府的领导下,我们就农村教育怎么办的问题,特别是县教委如何才能把教育办好的问题,进行了不断的研究和探索,走的是一条艰难曲折之路,这其中有苦也有乐,有阻力也有收获,有非议也有表扬,到现在总算取得了一点成果。这成果的主要标志是:人民群众对教育满意了,各级领导和社会对教育满意了。1998年我县被评为全国“两基”
