学生完成任务的过程就是其教学情景认知语境的动态建构过程,通过学生个人意识层中新、旧信息的互动,某一任务在教学情景认知语境中获得一定的语境效果,使之在此语境中具有关联性,因而任务具有语境化的特征。任务的设计原则是关联原则,即教师通过本能或有意找寻课文与其言内言外知识的关联来设计任务。任务教学实施时,为了减少学生的处理难度,教师要平衡任务的认知处理难度和语言项目难度,使之在此语境中具有关联性,实现任务型教学法三大教学目标,促进学生的英语习得。
