甘草是豆科甘草属植物甘草(Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch)、胀果甘草(G.inflataBatalin)和光果甘草(G.glabra Linn.)的根和根茎。主要含甘草酸、甘草次酸、甘草黄酮类等成分,70年代末还发现甘草中含有抗菌抗氧化的成分。甘草不仅是常用大宗药材之一,而且是医药、食品、烟草等工业的常用原料和风味添加剂。近年来由于种种原因使甘草的需求量激增、价格猛涨,造成盲目滥采乱挖,野生资源面临枯竭,产量、质量日益降低。因此,开展甘草综合利用,充分发挥甘草各有效成
