In the recent period, the turmoil in international financial markets showed three characteristics: First, a wide area. The East Asian financial crisis has so far failed to bottom out. Although the foreign exchange reserves of some countries have increased and the interest rates in the Mainland have been declining, the financial markets in many East Asian countries have been rekindled by the devaluation of the yen and the worsening economic conditions. Russia experienced a very serious financial crisis. Is the financial turmoil stuck to Latin America?
