习近平总书记去年10月15日主持召开文艺工作座谈会并发表重要讲话,深刻阐述了文艺和文艺工作的战略地位和重大使命,对在新的历史起点上推动文艺繁荣发展作出了全面部署,将中国特色社会主义文化发展理论推向了一个新境界,是指导当前和今后一个时期党的文艺工作的纲领性文献。文化系统应认真学习、深入贯彻总书记重要讲话精神,努力推动文艺大发展大繁荣。
General Secretary Xi Jinping chaired a forum on literary and art work and delivered an important speech on October 15 last year, which profoundly expounded the strategic position and major mission of the arts, literature and art work and made a comprehensive plan for promoting the prosperity of literature and art at the new historical starting point. The theory of socialist cultural development with Chinese characteristics has advanced to a new realm and is a programmatic document guiding the party’s work in literature and art for the present and for a later period. The cultural system should conscientiously study and thoroughly implement the spirit of the important speech made by the general secretary and strive to promote the great prosperity of the arts and culture.
