Earlier this year, Deng Xiaoping and other central leaders asked us to be bolder and make faster when they visited Shenzhen. How Shenzhen can be more open and its economy and society can have greater development is a topic that we must seriously consider and discuss. After 11 years of development, the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone has made remarkable achievements. The important reason is that it has adopted an unprecedented policy of opening up so that funds, talents, technologies and materials from home and abroad can be brought together in Shenzhen and the rapid economic development of Shenzhen has been promoted. At present, to make Shenzhen’s economic development to a higher level, we should further emancipate our minds and conduct all-round liberalization. At the same time, the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone shoulders the task of opening up an expedition for the country’s reform and opening up. The successful test we conducted will become the goal of further reform and opening up in our country.
