党的十六大把“三个代表”重要思想同马列主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论一起确立为我们党必须长期坚持的指导思想,实现了我们党在指导思想上的与时俱进,这是十六大的战略性决策和历史性贡献,是时代发展的呼唤,是各族人民的意愿,是历史经验的升华,是全党智慧的结晶。“三个代表”重要思想是十六大的灵魂,这一灵魂为我们党在风云变幻的21世纪确立了立党之本、奠定了执政之基,找到了力量之源。“三个代表”是凝聚亿万人民开创未来的旗帜,是中华民族实现伟大复兴的希望之光,是我们开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面的伟大纲领和行动
The 16th National Congress of the CPC has established the important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ together with Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory as the guiding ideology that our party must adhere to for a long period of time and has realized our party’s advancing with the times in guiding ideology. The strategic decision-making and historic contributions of the 16th CPC National Congress are the call for the development of the times, the will of the people of all nationalities, the distillation of historical experience, and the crystallization of the wisdom of the entire party. The important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ is the soul of the 16th CPC National Congress. This soul has laid the foundations for our party to establish itself in the rapidly changing 21st century, has laid the foundation for its governance and has found the source of strength.
