威尼斯是迷人的。人们每去一次,都会有新的收获,新的发现。今年3月下旬,我随苏州友好代表团又一次来到这里,出席了两个城市结为姐妹城市的签字仪式,对于威尼斯城市的美和威尼斯人民的勤劳智慧,又有了新的发现。“蛇船”与“贡多拉”热情的主人马里奥·里戈市长用迎接贵宾的仪式来欢迎姐妹城的客人。类似我国龙舟的“大蛇船”早就等候在岸边了。船身漆成红、绿、紫色;船头上站着一个庄严威武的金人,凝视着前方;船舷上装饰着两匹小巧玲珑的金马,作奔驰状。船夫们头戴缀有红色飘带的小草帽,身穿中世纪各色服装,腰缠火红丝带,手握双桨,站在“大蛇船”中央,给人以一种优美的感觉。威尼斯朋友告诉我,“大蛇船”平日不轻易出动,只有在9月划船节或欢迎贵宾时,例如去年欢迎华总
Venice is charming. Every time people go there, there will be new gains and new discoveries. In late March of this year, I came here once again with the friendly delegation of Suzhou to attend the signing ceremony of the sister cities formed by the two cities.
