浪潮作为国内高性能产业的领军者,数年来,一直致力于高性能科学计算,高性能商业应用领域的技术研究和产品开发。近来,随着国外新型技术及成功应用的引导,加上国家对高性能产业的重视和扶持,自主研制面向科学研究应用的尖端超级计算机以及作为无缝集成的协同计算环境,又称“虚拟超级计算机”的网格计算的呼声越来越高。高性能发展也已经强烈要求由“高性能”向“高效能”转变。但是,尽管CPU速度、内存速度在以数百倍的速度升级,网络带宽也在持续的增加,但服务器的计算性能却没有多大改善。原因在哪里?—总线的传输速度不够!现在,InfiniBand、EtherFabric、iWarp三种高速互连技术(网络加速技术)将使高性能摆脱目前的尴尬现状。

Why? - The bus is not delivering enough! Now, InfiniBand, EtherFabric and iWarp three high-speed interconnect technologies (Network Acceleration Technology) will get high performance out of the awkward situation.
