关学有史肇端于明代冯从吾的《关学编》;嗣后关学学者王心敬、李元春和贺瑞麟皆起而续之,遂有《关学续编》;民国间,为宦陕西的川籍学人张骥又编有《关学宗传》,这些都是有关关学学术史的重要文献。但或因其“牵合附会之习”而滥入,或因“拘于门户之见”而摈弃,这些文献对于关学史的认识都存在不少缺陷。现代学人撰写的与关学思想史相关的论著,较早见于侯外庐主编的《中国思想通史》,然而该书把关学史
