长钻孔钻机体积、重量较大,井下搬迁移动困难。国外此类钻机一般都采用履带自行底盘。目前国产的MK-6型、MK-7型长钻孔钻机采用步履装置,虽可满足钻机在钻场内小范围移位的要求,但在远距离搬迁上仍需采用拆卸搬运的方式,比较繁琐。另外钻机在自动化程度和可靠性方面也需进一步提高。
