教育部办公厅日前发布《关于2016年中小学教学用书有关事项的通知》,自2016年起,义务教育阶段小学和初中起始年级的“品德与生活”“思想品德”教材名称将统一更改为“道德与法治”。这是1949年新中国成立以来,“法治”二字首次出现在义务教育阶段的政治课程名称中。这是贯彻落实党的十八届四中全会关于在中小学设立法治知识课程的要求,公民只有具备良好的法律意识,才会严格依照法律行使自己享有的权利和履行自己应尽
