“在生命之树上有我为中西医结合事业献身的斑剥心迹”,这是中国科学院院士、我国第一代中西医专家、已年届七旬的陈可冀教授一生最大的心愿。为了这个心愿,陈教授在中西医结合的道路上几十年如一日辛勤地耕耘着。他为中西医结合事业开辟了一条先路,为中医能在世界医药之林争得一席之地做出了不懈努力。
“I have devoted myself to the cause of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on the tree of life.” This is the greatest wish of an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the first generation of Chinese and Western medicine experts in my life who has been Professor Seventy-year-old Professor Chen Keji. For this wish, Professor Chen worked hard for decades on the road of integrating traditional Chinese and western medicine. He set a precedent for the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine and made unrelenting efforts for Chinese medicine practitioners to gain a place in the world’s medical and pharmaceutical industry.
