Changes in rainfall erosivity due to climate change are predictable. Changes in rainfall erosivity will have a major impact on national or regional water and soil conservation policies. USDA scientist M A Nearing used two types of atmospheric-ocean global climate models to simulate climate change and studied the trend of the US rainfall erosivity in the 21st century. The average rate of change (positive or negative) of rainfall erosivity in the United States in the 21st century was 16% ~ 58%. This shows that rainfall erosion in some areas of the United States will increase, while in some areas will reduce the erosion of rainfall. The prediction results of the two models are consistent in some places, but there are differences in some areas
