《现代汉语》是大学本科英语专业一门必修的公共基础课,在于培养学生的语言文字分析、鉴赏能力,提高他们的语文应用水平和语言学修养。可在当今高校,英语专业该课程的教学处于重要却又不被重视的尴尬境地,为此,必须加强思想上的重视和引导,精选教材和教学内容,创新教学方法与考核方法,以保证课程的教学质量和人才培养的质量。
“Modern Chinese” is a compulsory public basic course for undergraduate English majors, which is to cultivate students’ ability of language analysis and appreciation, to improve their language proficiency and linguistic accomplishment. In today’s colleges and universities, the teaching of English major is in an important but not valued embarrassment.
