全国规模的农业合作化高潮已经来到,我省农业合作化运动也以空前规模展开着,并在继续不断地往前发展。为了配合这一新形势,为了使合作化运动更加顺利进行和巩固已经建立了的农业社,以及为今后实行农业技术改革创造条件,必须在农村中积极展开扫除文盲的工作。目前,在我省广大农村中,差不多还有百分之八十左右的农民不认识字,农业科学技术知识更谈不上。不能设想,保持这种文化落后的状态而能够完成农业社会主义改造的伟大事业。随着经济建设的高潮,必不可免的要有文化建设的高潮来与之相适应,这是一条规律。这样,我们就必须在农村中来一次文化大进军,首先是积极展开扫盲工作。这是一项具有战略意义的任务,是社会主义建设事业中不可缺少的一环。我省是一个老解放区,人民随着政治、经济翻身之后,在文化上也迫切要求翻身。尤其是近两年
