吟秋先生的一生是以谨慎厚道、待人以诚而名世。他这么做了,也教育着学生、亲人们这么做,执着地延续了书香世家的传统。品行如一,恪守规矩是他的为人宗旨,至今还萦绕在我的脑海中。我外公王个移先生早在抗战时期就与吟秋先生同在东吴大学任教并结为至交。解放后,亦经常书信往来。记得在七十年代初的一个盛夏季节里,我到上海看望外公、外婆。外公叫我坐到他身边,亲切地对我说:“建军,你已学书多年,应该帮你在苏州找一位老师了!苏州有一位我非常敬重的书法家蒋吟秋先生,与我同年,他可是一位对国家有功之人哦!我写封拜师帖你带去,他一定会很乐意地接受你的。”回苏后,我利用厂休日怀揣“外公的拜师
Mr. Yin Qiu’s life is based on prudence and kindness, treat people sincerely and worldly.
