Chinese and German experts will work together to carry out in-depth research in a new generation of CNC system, which was announced at the reviewing ceremony of “Open CNC Application Software Development” of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The project is an international cooperation project supported by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. The project undertaking institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Production Systems and Control Technology will cooperate with the University of Stuttgart in Germany in the next two years to develop an open CNC application software suitable for China’s national conditions.
