为加速实现我省稻麦收获机械化,根据省农机局一九七四年下达的课题任务,在温江地区农机局和成都市农机局主持下,由温江地区农机所、成都市农机所、新都县农机厂、广汉县农机厂、成都农学院、四川省农机所等单位参加组成了联合收割机研制小组,后又请四川省农机鉴定站参加试验,共同研制适应我省平坝地区为主的小型半喂入稻麦两用联合收割机,并适应湿脱及倒伏,能在湿水田工作,动力选用 S195型柴油机。
