Foseco Introduces SMARTT Degassing Technology. The process is controlled by a recently developed Fujinote degassing module software SMARTT, which accurately simulates rotary degassing. The operator simply determines the quality of molten aluminum, SMARTT can be based on environmental conditions, liquid temperature of molten steel, rotor design and composition of the alloy default best practice. Processing parameters are automatically transferred to the degassing unit (FOUNDRY DEGASSING UNIT) MTS (Metal Treatment Station, degassing unit). Combined with the groundbreaking rotor design, SMARTT achieves consistent quality levels for reliable results. The SMARTT software determines rotor speed, inert gas flow and processing time and sends the data to the degasser before starting processing. four
