2010年左右,学者、艺术家严善錞在自己的当代艺术家研究和写作领域中纳入了王广义和张晓刚。在他看来,王广义较多关注艺术的观念问题,而张晓刚更关注形式的问题。为了获得更多的素材,2011年,他和张晓刚展开了连续两日的对谈,最终整理成2万余字的一篇长文。这是一次严肃而又不失趣味的对话,它呈现了两位对艺术的认识和态度,其中既有一致,也存在各种分歧。本刊将此文分3期连载,以飨读者。
Around 2010, scholar and artist Yan Shanyu included Wang Guangyi and Zhang Xiaogang in the field of research and writing of contemporary artists. In his view, Wang Guangyi more concerned about the concept of art issues, and Zhang Xiaogang more concerned about the issue of form. In order to get more material, in 2011, he and Zhang Xiaogang started a two-day talk, and finally organized a long article into more than 20,000 words. This is a serious but not discordant dialogue. It presents two understandings and attitudes about art. There are both agreements and disagreements. The article will be divided into three consecutive articles to readers.
