《现代汉语词典》这样解释课堂一词:教室在用来进行教学活动时叫课堂,泛指进行各种教学活动的场所。按照新课标理念界定及相关要求衡量,课堂就不完善了。一位资深教师认为新课标下的课堂应该突出:课堂不是教师表演的舞台,而是师生之间交往、互动的舞台;课堂不是对学生训练的场所,而是引导学生发展的场所;课堂不只是传授知识的场所,而应该是探究知识的场所;课堂不是教师行为模式化运作的场所,而是教师教育智慧充分展现的场所。课堂应是简单有效的。
