为纪念“七一”党的生日,早在新中国建立前后,就曾出现了以“七一”命名的烟标,如冀南解放区义合烟草公司出品的“七一”烟标(图1),底色为白色,图案由红、蓝、绿三色构成,主版中央红色的圆型齿轮内印有“7·1”字样,寓意中国共产党是中国工人阶级的先锋队,代表工人阶级和广大人民群众的利益。此标构图拙朴简洁,蕴意深远。20世纪50年代初期,地方国营山东临清卷烟厂出品过多款“七一”烟标(图2-5)。大红色的“七一”烟标,主副版中间上均印有“7.1”字样,一颗金色的五角星熠熠生辉,光芒四射,寓意星星之火,可以燎原。烟标下方印有一面面飘扬的鲜红党旗。另外两枚“七一”牌烟标,同图异色,主版中央圆圈内印有“7·1”字样,圆圈周围红色的火焰熊熊燃烧。寓意共产党像一轮红日冉冉升起在东方,照亮了神州大地,温暖着
