本文旨在通过对中国学生英语作文的篇章构成模式分析,试图找到语篇模式对学生英语作文连贯性的影响,进而找出导致学生英语写作缺乏连贯性的主要原因。统计结果显示,六种篇章模式存在于受试学生的英语作文中。这说明中国学生英语作文在语篇构成方面的复杂性。究其原因,笔者认为存在两方面主要因素:其一,学生对目标语的修辞模式,语篇模式缺乏了解;其二,学生母语语篇模式在英语写作中的“负迁移”。此外文章希望从培养学生的跨文化意识以及语篇能力等方面入手,去提高学生用英语进行写作的能力。
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the composition of Chinese students’ English composition and try to find out the influence of the discourse model on students’ English cohesiveness, and then find out the main reasons for students’ lack of coherence in English writing. Statistical results show that the six chapter patterns exist in the English composition of the test students. This shows that the Chinese students’ English composition is complicated in terms of text composition. The author thinks that there are two main factors: First, the students’ lack of understanding of the rhetoric model of the target language and the discourse model; Second, the negative transfer of the students’ native discourse model in English writing. In addition, the article hopes to start from the aspects of cultivating students’ cross-cultural awareness and discourse ability to improve students’ ability to write in English.
