名列世界五大车展首位的北美车展于2009年1月11日在底特律COBO会展中心如期举行,当地风雪严寒的天气使本届车展显得有些冷清,而国际金融危机的影响更有点儿雪上加霜的意味,铃木、日产、三菱、路虎、保时捷、劳斯莱斯和法拉利都没有参加本届车展。因为是在家门口举办的活动,并且刚刚通过了国家的救援计划,所以通用和克莱斯勒这两家车企自然会咬紧牙关参展,当然福特也不会错过这次展示自身的机会。虽然本届车展被严寒笼罩,但是欧系车企以及两家来自中国的车企参展,让人们从中看到了希望。
