Two years after the Korean War broke out in 1952, I.F Stone, the famous independent journalist in the United States, published his monograph “The Korean War: A Hidden History” that examined the origins of the Korean War. Stone repeatedly pointed out that the “Korean War: Hidden History” is not a so-called “inside story” or “revelation” in the usual sense, but a challenge to the official view of the U.S. government accepted by the overwhelming majority of Americans.
