十一届三中全会以后,党的路线、方针、政策,给教育战线指明了新的发展方向。中组部发出的关于大量吸收优秀知识分子入党的决定,又给知识分子带来了政治上的春天。两年多来,各级党组织为解决知识分子入党难的问题,做了大量的工作,并取得了较大成绩。但是,目前发展知识分子入党工作不太平衡,表现在年龄结构上有些失调。最近,我们就我院在优秀知识分子中发展党员的情况,进行了摸底调查和座谈。初步统计如表一所示:
After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the party’s line, principles and policies have given the education front a new direction of development. The decision made by the Central Organization Department to absorb a large number of outstanding intellectuals into the party has brought the political spring to the intellectuals. Over the past two years or so, the party organizations at all levels have done a great deal of work to solve the problem of getting intellectuals into the party difficult and have made great achievements. However, at present, the development of intellectuals is not balanced in joining the party, showing some imbalance in the age structure. Recently, we conducted thorough investigations and discussions on the development of Party members among outstanding intellectuals in our hospital. Preliminary statistics as shown in Table 1:
