Intelligence is the combination of human’s observation, memory, attention, thinking, imagination and practical ability. It is an important index to evaluate the mental health of children and adolescents. In recent years, research on domestic children’s intelligence has focused more on cities and suburbs. In order to grasp the intellectual development of Zhuang children in this border area, in October 1991 we conducted an intelligence test on Zhuang elementary school students in the border areas of Guangxi and Vietnam.
