动画是通过连续播放一系列画面,给视觉造成连续变化的图画。动画不仅仅是可以使所有的无生命的物体运动,而且其特殊功能还在于使无生命的物质成有意识的生物并使之运动起来,所以运动就是动画的核心问题。而节奏是事物运动和生命的表现形式,节奏在动画创作中是难以掌握的,但是他是动画影片成败的重要因素,节奏包含很多种,而我这里讲的主要是怎样有效把握动作节奏。我认为:影片动作的节奏不仅关系到观众对整个动画片的剧情的理解,而且更重要的是关系到这种理解对艺术享受程度的多少。这就说明了动画制作者对动画影片的节奏必须有明确的了解和控制能力,控制和处理节奏在造成特殊效果和气氛方面存在着无穷的可能性。节奏不仅关系到如何让确定动画的间距,张数和画稿在荧幕上持续多久才能获得最佳效果,而且关系到影片情节展开的节奏,速度和情调。

What I am talking about here is how to effectively grasp the rhythm of the action. I think: The tempo of movie action not only concerns the audience’s understanding of the plot of the whole animation, but more importantly, the extent to which this understanding enjoys art. This shows that animators must have a clear understanding and control over the tempo of animated films, and there is an infinite possibility of controlling and managing the tempo in creating special effects and atmospheres. Rhythm is not only about how to get the best results from determining how long animations, how many sheets and drafts will last on the screen, but also the tempo, speed, and mood of the movie plot.
