Follicular mycosis fungoides (FMF) is a rare cutaneous T-cell lymphoma characterized by atypical lymphocytic infiltrates in and around hair follicles and generally without epidermal involvement or hair follicle mucin deposition. It has been reported that the epidermis is not involved in the hair follicles and hair follicle mucin deposition is the main difference between FMF and MF associated with hair follicle mucin deposition.
