作者等在马拉维3个美洲钩虫流行区的儿童感染者中观察了阿苯达唑(albendazole)的驱钩作用。实验分4个组:第一组106例6~19岁的患儿,分成4小组,25例服用安慰剂,30例顿服左旋咪唑80mg,其余51例服用阿苯达唑,其中25例顿服200mg,26例顿服400mg,第二组34例8~17岁的患儿,19例服甲苯达唑,每日200mg二次分服,连服3天,15例顿服阿苯达唑400mg,第三组27例8~18岁感染者顿服阿苯达唑400mg,第四组30例1~2岁的患儿顿服阿苯达唑200mg。各组在服药前和服药后7和21天分别用改良加藤法作虫卵计数。
The authors looked at the role of albendazole in urinary tract infections among children with HIV in the three hookwash endemic areas of Malawi.
