黄星象鼻虫是一种苗木害虫。幼虫取食一、二年生杨树扦插苗木根皮及部分木质部,破坏杨树苗木水分和养分的输导。有的苗木根皮几乎被吃光,以致全株死亡。南营子苗圃近三年因此虫为害苗木损失达14万株,成了苗圃生产中的一大难题。近几年来,南营子苗圃曾采用多种方法进行防治,但效果都不理想。今年7月,用白僵菌作了2次防治试验,取得了可喜的成果,杀虫率达90%以上。
Yellow weevil is a seedling pest. Larvae feeding one or two year-old poplar cutting seedlings root bark and part of the xylem, destruction of poplar seedling moisture and nutrient transport. Some nursery root bark is almost eaten, resulting in whole plant death. Nyingzhong nursery so nearly three years so pest damage of seedlings up to 140,000, became a nursery production in a major problem. In recent years, Nanyingzi nursery has used a variety of methods to control, but the effect is not satisfactory. July this year, Beauveria bassiana made two prevention and control tests, and achieved gratifying results, insecticidal rate of 90% or more.
