In order to further promote the reform of state-owned forestry and collective forestry, the editorial office of “Forestry Economics” of the Research Center for Economic Development of the Ministry of Forestry and the Beijing-based Open Economist Consultation Center held in Kunming, Yunnan Province from May 9 to May 13, 1997. 97 State-owned Forestry Reform and Development Advanced Seminar. Dr. Li Lianzhong, deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, gave a talk on several basic issues concerning the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics and on the macroeconomic operation and reform in China. Deputy Director Zhang Forest of Industry, Ministry of Forestry, gave a talk on the establishment of China’s forestry industry system and state-owned forestry reform , Ministry of Forestry policy and regulations, Department of Justice Wang 洵 vice
