大青叶蝉(大绿浮尘子、青叶跳蝉等)在我省及北方数省都有发生及为害,它不仅为害各类大田作物,而且秋收后,迁居果园、林带、苗圃,在苹果、梨和杨树等的枝干上产卵,造成幼树越冬严重伤亡。1981—1982年,我场4—5年生杜梨砧木伤亡率达87.1%,3年生杨树伤亡率达29.0%;1982—1983年,临泽县园艺场7—8年生苹果树伤亡率达85.0%。给生产上带来了严重的损失。
